This is Prince, our 75% Kerry Hill Ram. He's a bruiser at well over 200 Lbs, and has been showing our two 87.5% Rams the ropes, while waiting for his shot as the clean up-ram (Extraordinaire). Any day now big fella... :)

How can can I throw my hat into the ring as one VERY INTERESTED in one of your 'divested sheep"
ReplyDeleteMy daughter has British White Cattle - these sheep would be a perfect compliment to them! Make a lot of them please. :) We are in Washington state.
ReplyDeleteFor those of you who have asked, I'm in the state of Virginia (when not in the state of confusion).
ReplyDeleteYes Laurel, I ussually let a few sheep go each year. Right now I plan to let go two 50% ewes and one 87.5% lamb- not closely related. Someone has spoken for them- but I get about 10-15 "I'll absolutley buy it' , for every actual sale.
I am also letting my 75% ram go- Prince (again someone has to hav him- but I haven't seen a deposit :))
And then of course all the lowest percentage lambs I have - probably 62.5% (Prince lambs from 50% ewes). The low percentage boys are freezerlambs, but I'm happy to find homes for the ewes.
