2021 Update

We AI'd again last December with Dr. Rachael Weiss in Pennsylvania.

Two of our ewes delivered one had a singleton ram lamb (93.75% or 15/16- he's pictured below) from Oaktree Teddy, and one ewe delivered healthy twin ewe lambs (92.18%) from Tom. Our new yearling ram 'Tuck' (90.625%) also covered his designated partners- so yay, more lambs. (Sorry, they are all spoken for.) So four animals over the 90% line, and a smattering of 87.5%-ers...(I pasted a picture of the girls with their summer cuts.)

There appear to be more and more people showing interest in the breed. Deb Gourley of heritage genetics is importing semen from four rams out of the Nidderdale flock in the north of England (https://www.heritagesheepreproduction.com/collections/all).
